The installation of Solar Panels onto a property allows energy to be produced from the suns rays. Solar panels are made up of photovoltaic cells which convert the light absorbed from the sun into electrical energy. Therefore, solar panels are environmentally friendly, reducing carbon footprint, whilst producing an efficient energy resource.
Installing solar panels onto a property would reduce energy bills and provide a non polluting electrical supply. Any excess electricity produced would be fed back into the National Grid. The UK Government operates a ‘Feed in Tariff Scheme’ in which payments could be made for the electricity generated by the solar panel system.
