IWEC Green Energy have been awarded a contract by Pembrokeshire County Council to replace the existing lighting at Tenby multi story car park with an energy efficient lighting solution.
IWEC Green Energy carried out a lighting Assesment at Tenby Multi storey car park in order to identify lighting energy cost savings. The survey highlited an astonishing amount of wasted energy due to the outdated lighting systems.
The new lighting system
IWEC Commercial Manager, Hefin Williams and Electrical Estimator, Mark Birkett designed a replacement lighting system using the Phillips Coreline range of LED lighting. The new lighting design will reduce Pembrokeshire County Council energy costs by 66% . Steve Keating, Green Energy advisor for the council was really pleased with the findings especially the payback on the scheme which was 1.9 years.
IWEC will be starting the contract on the 16th March 2015.
